Swine Flu Vaccination |

| Limited supplies have now
arrived and priority groups are being invited to book for
vaccination. Letters are being sent out to individuals. |
| The vaccine is being offered
first to people who are most likely to become seriously ill if
they catch swine flu. These people are in the following priority
groups: |
| 1. Adults and children
over 6 months of age who have a long term health condition
including: |

Chronic Lung Disease |
Chronic Heart Disease |
| |
Chronic Kidney Disease |
Chronic Liver Disease |
| |
Chronic Neurological
Disease |
Diabetes Mellitus |
| |
Immunosuppression caused by a disease or treatment of a
disease. This may include people who don't have a spleen and
people on immunosuppressant treatment or high dose steroids |
| 2. Pregnant women at any
stage of pregnancy. |
| |
| 3. People living in the
same house as someone whose immune system is compromised by
disease or treatment. |
