The Nene Valley Medical Practice opened the doors to its new premises in July 2000. Located to the East of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, we currently have approximately 9500 patients registered with us from the Orton areas, Hampton, Woodston, Alwalton, Chesterton and South Bretton.

Located at the end of Clayton, Orton Goldhay, next to Phoenix School and Sellars Grange, the premises include a Lloyds Pharmacy immediately next door. Opening hours of the pharmacy match those of the surgery. Parking is plentiful on the site including disabled parking bays and cycle racks. In fact we are, for many of our patients, just a short walk away and what could be more healthy than a walk to see us!

There are 6 GPs in the practice, as well as GPs who are completing their training. We also host medical students from time to time from the medical school at Addenbrookes Hospital.

Our nursing team is very experienced, and includes a prescribing Nurse Practitioner. Our nurses run many clinics during the week including asthma, diabetic, copd, family planning and cardiovascular clinics.
