Welcome to the Nene Valley Medical Practice

We are a friendly, large expanding teaching practice based in the centre of the Ortons, working from modern, purpose built premises, offering the services of six GP's, one nurse practitioner, one prescribing nurse as well as two further nurses, GP registrars, midwife, health visitors and other health care workers. As a result of recent expansion which includes an additional waiting room, we are now able to offer the use of two large treatment rooms as well as sixteen consulting rooms. We are able to offer patients on line appointment booking and on line prescription requests.

Opening Hours

Our practice is open Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 18.00, however, our duty doctor is available Monday to Friday until 18.30. We also offers extended hours each week. The extended hours surgeries may run in the early mornings, evenings or on Saturdays.
